History: "I Have a Dream, Too!"

Screen_shot_2011-03-08_at_1.19.04_PM.png

Martin Luther King's dreams came true, I want mine to, too! I have a dream, too! My dreams aren't to have less days of school, they aren't to have an unlimited supply of Happy Cola, 24/7. They are what everybody needs, wants, and yearns for. They take an effect on this nation, like Martin Luther King, and what the whole world needs today.

I have a dream.

I have a dream.

I have a dream, now.

There are so many nightmares in the world, why? Because there are things like hate, greed, vengeance, and unhappiness. Dreams, my dream are below. Dreams are what we need in this world right now. They tackle each one of the nightmares, I've just listed.

I have a dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will come together as a family. That there will be at least one thing that you will like about the person, going from their race to them sharing your favorite color. Mines is green, by the way, if anyone else there has that same preference for the color green. We have something in commmon, something that can start a conversation. Instead of hating, start relating. Don't hate someone because you don't have anyone to hate. That just makes the smaller person. Think of certain people as your extended family, instead of your enemies.

I have a dream for this world.

I have a dream that one day people will release the cure for AIDs and HIV. Yet they keep it to themselves, and let people who want to continue with their lives, die. Vain people. Greedy people. Selfish people. People who don't want to suffer themselves, but let the people who live around them suffer, just so they can make an easy buck. Instead of holding it and keeping it for corporate greed, let it be obtainable for those who need it. Instead of watching people slowly die in front of there family's eyes, share the cure. Instead of lying about not having it, make it known to the public. Instead of keeping this a nightmare for all the people out there and there families, share the cure.

I have a dream.

I have a dream that one day everyone will be able to go home to a safe home. They can know that they can be safe while sleeping. While eating. While cooking. While helping around the house. Not only do I want for the house and the neighborhood to be safe but I have a dream that abuse will stop. Abuse for not only kids, but adults too. Abusing, not only comes from a poisoned mind, but it can also poison the mind of the one being abused and that one could be the future of the next generation.

I have a dream, right now.

I have a dream that one day this world will end world hunger. Yet, I have a dream with in this dream. That dream within a dream is that if world hunger ends, I want those who we fed before to still stay fed. I want everyone to be fed. It's a hard dream to accomplish, but many lives are taken if children, infants, adults, elderly aren't fed in the forgotten third world countries. Those third world countries need our help. If one country gets rich then there bound to have a poor country because of it. We still shouldn't forget about those countries. So next time you think about wasting food, there are people out there who haven't eaten for days and weeks.

I have a dream.

I have a dream that one day, people can walk around with no worries. People can be truly happy with their life instead of wanting to live someone else's life. It shocks me when I hear about my friend's lives and what they have been through at such a young age. And, as their friend, I can't take away all that sadness, I can only make them vent out to me and tell me their problems and give them my advice because I care.

I have a dream, today.

I have a dream that one day, this nation will allow gays to live in peace. There will be no more jokes. No more lying to seem what we call normal. I want gays to live a happy life and for states to legal gay marriages. They, the congress men and woman should not ban what is not "normal" to them and ruin someone else's life because of that. I have a dream that gay marriages will legalize in every state.

I have a dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will help anyone in need from a national disaster. That people will start to donate and share and help out more with the Red Cross and other organizations for those people who are in need. That people who can give, will. That people will have open hearts to those who lost their homes and are out in the streets and shelters because of mother nature, being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I have a dream. Not a nightmare.

Maribelle Añes - Stay Strong

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBU5X5WkBpo&feature=player_embedded

I chose this song by Maribelle Añes because her songs are inspiring to teenagers everywhere. This is because she is still a teenager herself, trying to make her way around in Australia at 15 years old.
She, for a teenager can see past the two inches of what's in front of her and write about them in her songs for us, listers, fans, and youtube-ers to hear and if you're like me, replay and replay and replay. She write about her feelings, current events, and songs that people can relate too.
This song tells you to keep your head up and stay strong. This song relates to every one of my "I Have a Dream, Too" topics. It talks about natural disasters. No matter how you look at this song, it is still inspirational.

Lyrics:
Verse 1:
Seeing your property
Being washed away by the storm
I can barely sleep
Knowing that, is what you call home
Watching that river flow
With no ground to be seen
Please Mrs. Gillard (Australia's prime-minister)
Can u change anything
Pre-Chorus:
As for now
Take care
Time will heal of this pain
But I know that it's just not fair
Chorus:
Please stay strong
Because were praying all night long
For the land that you call home
It's not the end
Baby we will fight
Night and day
Hold on
Mother nature is so wrong
to let this thing go on
What matters the most is
That you're okay
Stay strong
